Welcome to the space of Integritherapy – a place for inner clarity, wholeness, and transformation.
My name is Petya Bankova, and I believe that true change begins from within – through
awareness, acceptance, and connection with oneself. I work with people who feel the need for
internal order, emotional balance, and a deeper connection with their body and mind.I believe that a person cannot be viewed separately from their context – emotional, physical,
social, and life-based.
My work is oriented toward creating deep understanding and sustainable
inner healing. That’s why my professional interests encompass a wide range of human
experiences and psycho-emotional states. My educational background is in psychology, completed at the “G. S. Rakovski” Military Academy.
I am certified as:
- Emotional Intelligence Coach – by the Bulgarian Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence,
- Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Coach – by Symbiosis Coaching, USA,
- Trainee Integrative Psychotherapist – at the Institute for Psychosomatics and Integrative Psychotherapy.
I have also gained valuable practical experience through an internship at the Psychiatry Clinic of
the Military Medical Academy (MMA), Sofia.
I am a member of the Bulgarian Association of Psychosomatics and Integrative Psychotherapy (BAPIP)
My main areas of focus include:
- Emotional regulation and the development of emotional intelligence – for people experiencing intense anxiety, emotional expression blocks, or recurring internal conflicts.
- Psychosomatic symptoms and the mind-body connection – working with clients who experience physical symptoms with emotional roots, chronic stress, invisible fatigue, or unresolved trauma.
- Personal integration and impulsivity – topics related to inner fragmentation, self-condemnation, impulsive reactions, and the need for new strategies for coping and self-regulation.
- Working with inner beliefs and deep limiting patterns – using methods from Neuro-
Linguistic Programming (NLP) and cognitive-emotional transformation. - Supporting loved ones of individuals who have been incarcerated or falsely accused –
spaces filled with shame, fear, guilt, and pain, yet also the possibility for strength, understanding,
and inner support. The topic of stigma, isolation, and silence in such families is not only a
professional interest but also a deeply human commitment for me. - Psychological support for parents of premature babies – a delicate and often invisible
experience, marked by anxiety, guilt, fear for the future, and the need for stability. I believe that
caring for the parent is a vital part of caring for the child. This is a central theme in my
therapeutic practice. - Therapeutic support during existential crises, burnout, and life transitions – for people
who feel stuck, disconnected from themselves, or have lost their sense of purpose.
I believe in an individualized approach – without templates or labels, but with respect for your unique story and personal rhythm of change.
If you feel it’s time to create a more meaningful connection with yourself, your body, and your inner world – I would be honored to support you in that process.
